2026 NFL Draft: 1st Round Mock

I’ve prepared a mock draft three ways for you today, the first (left) is my what would I do mock, the second (middle) is my first round mock which is drafted off the averages from 8-10 mocks to get a general idea of how the draft is being talked about, and the third (right) is based on Wide Left Consensus Draft Board which aggregates a whole host of draft boards to make the internet’s big board. The write-ups are all about the mock column and is just some notes on how I felt the board fell. So enjoy the 1st round I think it’s going to be a bit wild but the lack of elite talent could mean that there isn’t much motivation to move around the first round.

Agreement across all three mocks if you trust the QB draft him, and take the potentially all-pro talent at a premium position.

-

Trade: ARI gets 7, '27 1st, '27 2nd - WAS gets 3

-

The trade is only in my mock (middle), the rumors of Washington moving up make sense for both sides as Arizona gets more bullets for next year’s draft while not falling out of the range to get a top tier guy this year, and Washington gets a premier player at an incredibly weak position.

3

ARI

David Bailey, Edge, Texas Tech

WAS - Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

Rueben Bain Jr, Edge, Miami (FL)

4

TEN

Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU

So Washington gets Love, Tennessee gets the best pure rusher on the board, the Giants get their tackle of the future, Cleveland protects whoever is gonna play QB for them, and Arizona moves down and still gets one of the three Edge players I had starting grade on.

Freeling isn’t my favorite but he’s liked by a lot of rankers and KC certainly needs to do a better job protecting Mahomes, Dallas gets a stud, and a steal, in styles, Baltimore gets the best lineman in the draft, while Tampa takes a risk on Proctor. The Jets luck into a top five player at a non-premium position, and Minnesota takes a tackle I just plain didn’t like in Blake Miller.

n the back half of the round Philly finds it Brown replacement, I mocked McDonald to Chicago because it’s the pick that would annoy me the most as a Packer fan, Buffalo keeps adding reinforcements for Josh, KC gets my favorite “sleeper” of the draft, and the Pats add a weapon for Drake Maye.

-

Trade: SEA gets 34 & 143, ARI get 32 & 210

-

Seattle trades back screwing over the Make-A-Wish kid who’s supposed to announce the pick and Arizona picks up their QB of at least the next three years in Simpson securing the 5th year option.

32

SEA

Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

ARI - Ty Simpson, QB, Alabama

Chris Johnson, CB, San Diego State
