Ramlbing's Week 5 CFB Top 25

Alright, a new addition to the power rankings top 25 that I’ve been putting up. The left set is what you’ve seen the past couple of weeks, the right set is based on a ranking I set up after being a little miffed at were Missouri ranked. The new set takes a different approach to the adjustments each week, taking away a bit of the preseason number each week and using a more aggressive approach to point differentials. I thought it’d be a nice comparison and a good chance to work on something for next season and track it.

I’ll say I like the new rankings better, but it has been slightly worse at predicting winners. That being said there are some major differences, Oregon and Missouri are much better adjusted and maybe still a bit too high, but no one else is all that differently rated.
