2016 College Football Season: A Letdown: Part 2

So Week 2, according to everyone, isn't very good. And, well... I hate to say it, but they're right. That being said we're never completely ready for super weird college football weeks. With that said, let's look for some.

Starting Friday I want to see Louisville again, and Syracuse gives them an up tempo test to give that team another test leading towards Houston. Louisville pulls away in early in the second half, but we all get to watch Dion Babers test a very geood defense. Looking toward Saturday, well there's the renewal of the PSU-Pitt rivalry, what state both USC and Utah State are in as programs, whether Kentucky can finally beat Florida, Arkansas-TCU whatever that means this year, El Assico (Iowa-Iowa State), The Holy Ware (BYU-Utah), Tennessee-Va Tech at Bristol, and Washington State-Boise State. Which actually means the evening and late night slates aren't bad. So let's focus on the four I'm most excited about. Starting in Fort Worth where Arkansas and Bert, descend on TCU and a team that had a lot of trouble getting going week 1. That said Arkansas struggled with La Tech far too long but didn't repeat their Toledo disaster from last year. Neither team is at their offensive best, but both should be stout defensively and I'll take the higher powered, but not full strength offense over the plod. Just barely. I think. Yeah, I guess that's it. Then we head to El Assico which, like always, will be football you shouldn't watch, but will because who knows someone might die, or shit themselves. The pants shitters will be Iowa, who will win, but not without allowing us all to laugh extremely hard at that sparkling new Ferentz deal. Thank you Iowa, you beautiful bumbling idiots. Which brings us to a game I just don't care to predict but wanted to point out to you because these two will fight, extremely weird swings will happen, and hey BYU's new coach got a really nice opening win at Arizona last week. Oh, and Utah will be Utah. Lastly is Wazzou-Boise State. Wazzou is coming off a loss to EWU, which isn't a big problem other than the fact you were stupid enough to schedule them. Boise is coming off a real nice road win at ULL and is skilled on offense for the first time in a few seasons. This should be a shootout, which means take the points, and although Boise is favored by 12 or so, I think Wazzou has a very good shot.

So there's week 2, there are a handful of fun games that you should pay attention to. There are a bunch you should watch out for upset alerts on and just remember to enjoy because there are only fourteen weeks left before all we have are bowl games.
