Oklahoma takes a big jump,
from 13 to 8, after a big win over a good FAU team. While Michigan State moves
down because of a close contest against Utah State and Georgia takes a step
back because they only played against an FCS opponent. Miami took the biggest
hit of the week in the top 25 with a six-spot drop after a damning loss to LSU.
LSU, Va Tech, and Boise were all big-time recipients of wins in marquee
matchups week 1. LSU and Va Tech each won on a neutral field against teams
favored by at least a field goal, and Boise went on the road to Troy and laid
the beat down on them.
