Alright the Packer game was cancelled,
so I don’t feel like I’m behind with this yet. These are my second ranks of the
year, and my pre-season ranks. With the way information works throughout the
rest of the preseason I’ll probably only put out one more set as I constantly
tweak and fiddle with my rankings as news and depth chart adjustments filter
in. Each column is a tier, in each cell you’ll find Name | Team | ADP
(Positional ADP). Enjoy and don’t be afraid to tell me how much of an idiot I
am.

Newton, Luck, Rodgers, and Wilson are the
top group, I don’t think there’s much to argue there. Brees has been as
consistent as anyone at the QB position and you could make the case that he
belongs in a category all his own. My top 9 matches ADP so I’ll probably taking
whichever player falls. As we move to the bottom of the starters I start to differ
just a bit from the consensus I have Stafford as a low starter, Taylor as a
high second option, and Eli as a solid backup. Staffod by adp is a mid-level 2nd
option, and I don’t love him, but he’s been consistently top 10 the last three
seasons. Taylor is a low second option, but his mix of rushing and passing
ability make him an upside play and a second option I’d want if I took a Brady,
Rivers, or Stafford. Lastly Eli. I might be a touch low especially with a
Shepard in and Randle out, but it still only leaves two offensive options that
I would want on my team. The O-line is still pretty atrocious and the running
game is relying on an aging Jennings, a less than athletic Williams, Vereen
being just a passing threat, and a rookie in Paul Perkins. So yes, two
receivers I really like, but a lot of other problems around them. Last three I’m
going to touch on are Bridgewater, Osweiler, and Fitzpatrick. Bridgewater I
have as a solid #2 QB compared to a high #3 at adp. I think the addition of
Treadwell, the continued maturation of Diggs, Peterson aging, and a line that
can’t be worse than last season makes Bridgewater a more palatable option in
2016. Osweiler and Fitz are the other way for me. Fitz is due for a whole bunch
of regression to the mean and Osweiler wasn’t impressive in both not beating
Manning out for the job and when he was on the field. Overall, I’m pretty close
to what the aggregate of others have agreed on, but it’s the differences and
the players who drop that’ll make or break my team and yours.
