 Day 3 sees the largest amount of picks and therefore the largest pool for roster spots there are bargains to be found and had, special teams and developmental players.

The reaches are mostly just RBs that got taken earlier than I would have taken them, one interior defensive lineman at the end of what I considered reaches in a class with upside scarcity, and a 274 TE who will be converting to fullback. In defense of each of them:
Phillips was only a redshirt sophomore last year and is certainly of the size to help clog the middle the biggest issue was his 3-cone time was 8.19 and considerably worse than average.

Mullings was good enough this year to take time away from Donovan Edwards who was considered to be a top running back  in college and gained 948 yards on 185 rushes with 12 TDs.

Mafah was productive for Clemson but injuries meant he didn’t do any testing and his production was solid (216 rushes and 1115 yards) but unspectacular compared to the rest of the class.

Blue showed flashes while teamed up with Jonathon Brooks last season at Texas but failed to significantly improve on that finish. He produced modestly in both facets of the game but there were at least standout plays from both season that suggest there is some upside to his game.

Ouzts is one of the most interesting stories to come out of the draft as he is a 274 lb. tight end who moves well and is transitioning to FB.

Ewers fell because of injury, production, and decision making but he’s a former #1 overall recruit who has shown an intriguing ceiling in the right situation, Johnson weighed in at 154 lbs. during the draft process, Williams is a mauler but oft-penalized offensive lineman, King is a somewhat athletically limited off-ball linebacker but I think his mental abilities make up for any perceived shortcomings, QBs get pumped up in my ranks based on positional importance but he’s tools-y and productive.
