Had
another good week in week 9 with 3-1-1 record, hitting on OSU & PSU easily and
La Tech by the skin on our asses. Heading into Week 10 we’re up 18.94% ROI and
a bankroll of $10,776.36.

Bankroll

This
was another one of those weeks where I had a little trouble getting to 5, but
it’s because I’m close to the number I want but just not all the way there to
pull the trigger.
Georgia
Southern at Appalachian State (-15)
App
State is in control of their own destiny in the Sun Belt East. They need to get
past the Georgia schools to get there with Georgia Southern and Georgia State bookending
a trip to South Carolina on the 9th. The Southern offense is absolutely
atrocious, the defense is pretty good, but App State is solid on both sides of
the ball and even with a slow Thursday start for the Mountaineers.
Akron
at Bowling Green (-6)
Rutgers
at Illinois (-20)
I
have two #MorganSpecials this week. BGSU/Akron is about as bad of a game as you’re
going to find this season with both ranking in the bottom 10 nationally no
matter which rating system you look at. I feel more strongly about Illinois
despite the higher spread. Illinois is an alright team, didn’t have a major
letdown after the Wisconsin upset and Rutgers is just absolutely ass. The
Illini roll here.
Arkansas
State (-2) at ULM
The
two teams chasing ULL in the Sun Belt West meat up in Monroe, Louisiana Saturday.
ULM still has ULL but a loss to the Red Wolves mean a win in a couple weeks means
a potential three-way tie in the division and a whole lot of sloppiness. Arkansas
State’s defense should shut down the ULM offense, while the ULM defense hasn’t
stopped much this season. It only takes a field goal and this one ends up with
an Arkansas State win between 7-10 points.
Virginia
(+115) at North Carolina
This
one should be close and kind of ugly and when that’s the case give me the team with
the better defense (UVA) and the underdog (UVA). Betting this isn’t for the faint
of heart I have it as a 50-50 game, ESPN’s Bill Connelly has it as a 2.9 point
spread in favor of Virginia. Take the dog or take the points if you feel better
about that.
Because
I’m posting these late Wednesday/Thursday I will try to add at least one line
that moved to something I like on Saturday.
