After a 3-1-1
this past week we are now 12-8-1 on our best bets, with an ROI of 17.81% on the
season and an adjusted bankroll of $10374.09. Week 6 wasn’t quite as challenging
as two weeks ago but it took a bit to find five I was confident in.
Note: We
are basing this on a 1 unit bet of $100 dollars and unless noted otherwise the
odds are -110.
Eastern
Michigan (-6) at Central Michigan
Eastern
Michigan isn’t quite on the WMU/Toledo line of the MAC West, but they are a
solid team that hung with Kentucky for a while and beat their lone Big Ten
opponent Illinois.
Baylor
at Kansas State (-1)
Baylor
is the undefeated team in this game but they’re coming off a game in which they
squandered a 20-point lead in the fourth quarter and may be in for a bit of a
letdown. Kansas State has a win over Mississippi State and is looking to bounce
back after a disappointing game against Oklahoma State last weekend. This is
going to be a close one but
Tulsa
at SMU (-13)
SMU
hosts Tulsa this week and they’ve been one of the pleasant surprises of the season.
After a solid win on the road against Arkansas State to start the year they’ve
taken care of business against the poor teams and passed the test by taking
care of TCU on the road two weeks ago. They get a Tulsa team that’s 2-1 with a loss
to Oklahoma State,
Rice
at UAB (-9.5)
UAB
has certainly taken a step back as they lose the advantage of the recruiting
class from the restart of the program but they’re still plenty good enough to
take advantage of a bottom 10 squad in college football (Rice).
Liberty
(-5) at New Mexico State
Liberty
has had some starts and fits to begin the season. They rebounded well beating a
better than expected Buffalo team and demolishing Hampton. They’re on the road
this week looking to make it back to back wins against New Mexican teams. Liberty’s
offense and defense are competent while NMSU is among the worst in the country
on both sides of the ball.
