At TE,
either take Gronk/Kelce/Ertz too early or wait, take a Hooper or Watson late
and stream if need be.

(8) Biggest Differences
Eric Ebron,
TE, IND – 12 Lower – I get
it Ebron is an impressive athlete and surely more talented than Doyle, but he
has trouble consistently performing and I’m not touching him this year.
Nick
Vannett, TE, SEA – 11 Higher
– Vannett isn’t spectacular but there is a dearth of pass catchers in Seattle
and unless Dickson suddenly gets healthy he’s the TE1.
Mike
Gesicki, TE, MIA – 8 Lower
– Gesicki is going to be the starter for Miami. Rookie tight end is a tricky
transition. I’ll take post-hype Gesicki next year.
Austin
Hooper, TE, ATL – 8 Higher
– I will die on the Hooper hill. He improved from ’16 to ’17 and 550 and a
handful of TDs is useful at TE in fantasy.
Cameron
Brate, TE, TB – 6 Higher
– Brate wasn’t as prolific in 2017 as he had been in 2016 but he was still
right around 600 yards and a half dozen touchdowns and, repeat it with me, that’s
useful at TE in fantasy.
Ryan
Griffin, TE, HOU – 6 Higher
– Someone has to start in Houston, it might not be Griffin but he’s #1 on the
depth chart ahead of a 28-year-old rookie.
Blake Jarwin, TE, DAL – 6 Higher – Someone has to start in Dallas and Jarwin is one of the
options.
